Haynes Waldo grew up around real estate. Raised in Monroe, Georgia, watching his father build a mortgage company, he knew early on that the business was in his blood — he just didn't know yet where he'd plant his flag. That question answered itself when he arrived at the University of Alabama. Haynes started his real estate career six years ago during his sophomore year, and by graduation, Tuscaloosa wasn't just where he went to school. It was home.
Haynes cut his teeth on the #1 team in the state of Alabama, helping stabilize a group that consistently led the market. He mastered the craft there — but he also saw what high-volume real estate can lose along the way: the personal experience buyers and sellers deserve when making one of the biggest decisions of their lives. So he bet on himself. Since going out on his own with The Waldo Group, Haynes has closed over $70 million in real estate by age 26 — proof that pairing high-level strategy, technology, and top-tier negotiation with the attention of an agent who picks up the phone isn't just a better experience. Haynes also brings a perspective most agents can't: he's an investor himself, owning and operating a portfolio of single-family rental properties across Tuscaloosa.
